Botel RACEK byl postaven na konci 70 let minulého století v českých loděnicích Mělník jako první ze tří pražských botelů. V roce 1969 byl ukotven na pravém břehu Vltavy v blízkosti Vyšehradské skály a následně uveden do provozu. Lodní těleso botelu bylo postaveno jako třípodlažní plovoucí objekt ocelové konstrukce, který je napojen na městské inženýrské sítě s vlastním plynovým vytápěním.
Botel se nachází nedaleko centra Prahy, v místech, kde se jedinečným způsobem snoubí historie s moderní architekturou a je určen k celoročnímu hotelovému a restauračnímu provozu.

RACEK botel was built at the end of 70 years of this century in the Czech Mělník shipyard as the first of three Prague botels. In 1969 it was anchored at the right bank of the Vltava river near Vysehrad rock in a quiet green oasis and subsequently put into operation. The ship body was built as a three-floor floating object of a steel construction which is connected to the municipal facility networks with own gas heating.
The botel is situated near Prague centre and it forms a unique part of the beautiful landscape of the Podolí embankment in all seasons. It is used all the year round as a hotel and restaurant.
A swimming pool and the “Žluté lázně“ sports and entertainment resort are situated nearby.
A convenient location of the botel is ideal starting point for various activities. Immediate vicinity of the underground and the tram station enables you to get within few minutes to the most important and most visited places in the historical part of Prague, such as Wenceslas Square, Old Town Sqaure, Charles Bridge, Royal mile or the famous Prague Castle within 10 to 15 minutes.
The botel is located near highways to Vienna / Brno and Nuremberg / Pilsen, the airport can be reached in 25min. drive from the hotel.

Das Botel RACEK wurde in den ausgehenden 70er Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts in der tschechischen Schiffswerft Mělník als erstes von drei Prager Botels gebaut. Es ist am rechten Moldauufer in der Nähe des Felsens Vyšehradská skála verankert, in einer ruhigen grünen Oase und später in Betrieb genommen. Der Schiffrumpf des Botels wurde als ein dreistöckiges schwimmendes Objekt aus Stahlkonstruktion gebaut, das an die Vernetzung der Stadt (Elektro- und Wasseranschlüsse) mit einer eigenen Gasheizung angeschlossen ist.
Das Botel befindet sich unweit des Prager Zentrums, an einem Ort, an dem es zu jeder Jahreszeit absolut einzigartig in die wunderschöne natürliche Szenerie des Flussufers Podolské nábřeží dareinpasst. Es ist für den ganzjährigen Hotel- und Restaurantbetrieb bestimmt. In seiner Nähe finden Sie das Schwimmstadion und das Sport- und Unterhaltungsareal „Žluté lázně“ (Gelbes Bad).
Aufgrund seiner Lage, Botel Racek ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Aktivitäten.
